The most rewarding aspects of being an Account Executive are being able to be the “Million Dollar” matchmaker between clients and candidates. When I first began working in the staffing/recruiting industry, I did not realize the impact I could have on the community. However, it became clear to me that I could really make a difference in people’s lives by assisting them with their job search.
My professional goals working in the staffing industry include being able to assist candidates who are seeking employment, the opportunity to apply for a position, and obtain a job which might not have otherwise been available to them. It is rewarding to help someone in the community and to assist them with their job search during these difficult economic times, along with guiding them on their career path. I am very passionate about helping with the hiring process, both from a candidate’s and client’s perspective. There is no greater feeling than being able to help someone find their ideal job and company to work for, and to receive grateful sentiments from a candidate who is thrilled with their new position!
In order to provide assistance to a client’s need, it is important to know and understand a company’s open job requisitions, industry, cultural environment, so that as a recruiter I can bring benefit and added value to an organization. This will in turn build a good working relationship, rapport, and credibility with a client. I am looking to provide staffing solutions based on human capital and to understand the procurement process, in order to provide well qualified candidates for the Property Management and Real Estate industry.
In order to achieve success in the staffing industry, a recruiter must be proactive, personable, passionate, humble, have the ability to engage in conversation with both candidates and clients, possess great networking abilities, maintain a strong work ethic, exceptional time management skills, and be consistent with following up and follow through. These are all traits of a great recruiter and if these simple “rules to the game” are followed, one can find great financial gain and intrinsic rewards, which are the most important aspects of being an Account Executive!
